So we made Key Lime Pie. Looks good doesn't it? But it was way too limey and sweet. The first bite tasted good, the second bite was ok but by the fifth bite I'd had enough. My Mum ate her piece but wasn't keen and dad ate 2 pieces. He regretted it later when he was in a sugar food coma!

I then watched the Oak National Assembly with Helen Sharman. It was really interesting to listen to her and her descriptions of travelling in space. I would love to be an astronaut and see Earth from space. She shows that you have to try otherwise you will never achieve. She didn't think she would be picked but she gave it a go!

I made notes and then I was able to match my notes to the descriptions of the rocks. Miss Simkin then showed us how to make an identification key. I liked doing this as it was just like the questionnaires I get in the Beano! Here is my identification key:
We then read a version of Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. We watched the summary and looked at the characters. I thought it was very funny. I liked it when Lysander is chasing Helena in the woods. I thought it was funny when they were all arguing. My favourite character was Hermia because she is fiesty. My favourite in the fairy kingdom is Puck because he causes all of mischief. Ziggy enjoyed it too! We then made some paper fairies of Titania, Oberon and Puck!
Shame about the Key Lime Pie. But you tried and are covering quite a range of subjects. Well done!
