25th June 2020

In Maths I learned about the different types of triangles: Equilateral, Isosceles and scalene.
I then had to sort out the different types of triangles.

Then I did English.  The focus was on PARENTHESIS.  I had to read the biography and spot examples.  I also had to write out my own examples.

I then did Geography Miss Read.  We continued with our topic on sustainability.  Today, I learned about non-renewable and renewable energy. I also looked at the advantages and disadvantages of fossil fuels.  I think the  disadvantages outweigh the advanatages.  I also learned that Iceland energy is provided by only 15% fossil fuels mainly oil.  85% is from renewable resources such as hydro and geothermal energy.

I then took pictures of the egg experiment I started on Monday.  There have been some changes in the vinegar and the cola. Look at the pictures and you can see how the vinegar egg shell seems to be wobbly like jelly and the cola egg has some cracks in it.

I then read a story called The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan.  You can listen to a reading of the story here:
I then wrote a short book review and created my own Lost Thing.  Here is my work:

I then found the film on Youtube.  You can watch it here:
