Good morning! I started the day by completing the lesson set by Mr Atkinson on Islam. I learned about the 6 main beliefs and the 5 pillars of Islam.
Next I did my Spanish lesson. There was a lot of recapping this week. Letters, sounds, numbers, introductions (my name is, my birthday is, the weather, were I live). Then I learned how to say what I liked and disliked about my town.
Me gusta mi pueblo porque hay un parque, tres escuelas, un supermercado, una estacion de trenes y una biblioteca. No me gusta mi pueblo porque no hay una piscina y un cine.
I then did English. I read a bibliography of Jacqueline Wilson and answered different styles of comprehension questions. I now need to think of who I want to write a bibliography of for Friday. I also took a picture of my tooth decay experiment and made some notes.
After lunch I read the story of Hamlet. It was a miserable tale indeed and my least favourite so far.
However I did like this catchy animated summary: Hamlet
I then did the SPaG lesson Mr Atkinson set and watched the BBC bitesize lessons on Spellings, Semi Colons and relative clauses. I then did a description of Hamlet to show my understanding of the play and of the SPaG stuff. Here is my work:
The final lesson for today was Maths. I had to do these tasks.
You've covered quite a few different subjects again today Seren.
ReplyDeleteI never did take to Shakespeare's plays when I was at school and Hamlet sounds really bad.
Well done. Nana. X
Hi Seren. You are certainly keeping yourself busy.Love the look and content of your blog. I think it is a good idea to be able to speak Spanish. I learnt French at school and think it would be good to learn a new language. I think I might try the Oak lessons myself. Hope you've had a good day.
