Wednesday 17th June 2020

As soon as I'd finished breakfast I got stuck into my comic book of 'The Taming of the Shrew'.  I enjoyed this activity especially drawing and colouring all of the costumes for Katharine and Pertuchio. I did change the ending.  Pertrucho thinks he has tamed Katharine but he hasn't.  She has other ideas!  Here is my comic book:

I then did English.  I read an example of a balanced argument about school uniforms.  I then had to spot the 4 features.

I then did some extra work on percentages.  It is starting to get very difficult!  I had to try and convert them into fractions and then simplify them.  I then completed Mr Barton's Maths lesson on long multiplication.  This was easier as I know the formal written method.

After lunch I did science. I learned about electrical circuits and some of the rules of circuits.  I could then identify the problem when a circuit didn't work.

We then updated my food diary for Mr Atkinson and went shopping for garden things.  We are going to try and grow some vegetables from seeds so we needed compost and trays with lids.  We plan on getting to work on this tomorrow
