Wednesday 24th June 2020

The sun is out and I've got gardening to do but first lessons!
I did Maths first with Miss Miles. I learned about regular and irregular shapes and what is a polygon.  I then completed the tasks below.

Next I did English with Mrs Blake  I had to reread the Jacqueline Wilson biography and spot the 4 features. I will remember to use these when I think about writing my biography.

My last lesson before gardening was science with Miss Simkin.  We continued with the topic of electrical circuits and today I learned the symbols and how to draw them.  Here is my work.

Well it was far too hot outside.  Mum mowed the grass and I helped with weeding. I am happy to report that: our pepper plants have grown; the tomato plants have pretty yellow flowers and some of the spinach seeds are now seedlings!  I'm very excited about that because I love spinach!

I then did a lesson about the reproduction of plants.  Flowers are very important for reproduction.  I dissected flowers and labelled the parts.  I'm very proud of my work.

  1. Yes it has been very hot today. Don't forget to water your plants. Can't wait to try the fruits of your labour in a lovely salad.
