Monday 8th June 2020

I spent this morning researching the debate of whether to bring back extinct animals.  This was set by Mr Atkinson.

I made notes then drafted my ideas and typed it up. I then read it out and my mum filmed me. Last night I watched Jurassic World :Fallen Kingdom so that was good research too!

Here is my argument:

I then watched the Oak National assembly.  I did some dancing and there was an interview with Beth Tweedle.  I then completed Mr Emerson's English lesson on word meanings in a non-chronological report..

After lunch I did Mr Barton's Maths lesson on step problems and decimals.

I then learned about what life is like in a Buddhist monastery.  I had to compare my routine to that of a monk or nun I was quite shocked to learn they get up at 4am to meditate and go to bed at 7pm.  But what was most shocking was that they eat their last solid meal at 11.30am!!!!! My mum said I wouldn't survive a day😊😁🤣

The final lesson today was Art which I usually enjoy but I found this quite frustrating and I had to redo parts.  It was a lesson on creating optical illusions.  This is what I learned.

I did stick at it and I am very pleased I did.  It's starting to look good it's taking a while to finish.  I will post the finished picture tomorrow.
